桜が咲いて一気に春がやって来ました！
まだちょっと花粉症が大変ですが、気分的にだいぶ楽です。
先日自分が一番好きな映画監督のヴィム・ヴェンダースが監修したブルーノートレコードのドキュメンタリー映画「ブルーノート・ストーリー」を観て来ました。
時代背景やミュージシャンやブルーノートレコード創設者たちの心情がよく分かる素晴らしい映画でした。
そして改めてジャズを聴く、演奏する意味を考えさせられました。
そして自分のジャズに対するスタンスに間違っていなかったという事が分かって良かったです。
さて明日は八王子でカルテットライブです。
トラディショナルな曲を中心に演奏します。

The cherry blossoms have bloomed and spring has come at once!
I still have a little hay fever, but it feels a lot easier.
The other day, I watched the documentary film “Blue Note Story” of Blue Note Records, which was supervised by my favorite movie director Wim Wenders.
It was a wonderful movie that clearly shows the background of the times and the feelings of musicians and the founders of Blue Note Records.
And I was made to think about the meaning of listening to and playing jazz again.
And it was good to know that I wasn’t wrong with my stance on jazz.
By the way, tomorrow is a quartet live in Hachioji.
We mainly play traditional songs.
