NYCから帰って来て何とか落ち着きを取り戻してきました。
ちょうど一週間前にレコーディングしたんだなと思うとなんかあっという間すぎてびっくりです。
あの日は朝からスタジオに向かいましたが、地下鉄のLラインが運休との情報があったので急遽Mラインで行きました。
昔で言ったらMラインなんて怖くて乗れませんでしたが、全然平気。
NYCも本当に安全になったんだなと改めて思いました。
さてスタジオに着いたはいいんですが、のっけからシステムトラブル！
PCが立ち上がらなかったり、インターフェイス入れ替えたりでドタバタ。
そんな中メンバーも現れて久々の再会で近況報告したり和やかなかんじでリハーサルスタート。メンバーは曲の飲み込みも早く流石な感じでした。
ランチブレイクに頼んでおいたカメラマン達が登場、フォトセッションやってムーピーのセッティング等していざ録音。
機材トラブルも復旧して30分押しで始まりました。
大体2〜3テイクで進めて予想より早く終了！
Samは素晴らしいオルガンサウンドとハーモニーを付けてくれ、ドラムのAnthonyは落ち着きと鋭さの極上のNYグルーヴを提供してくれました。
オリジナルを含め、楽曲達が素晴らしく生まれ変わりました。
自分はもう何も考える事が出来ず、思いのままプレイするしかありませんでした。
まぁ、後になっていろいろと思うところはあるけど、その時の自分が録音された訳だからそれが本当のレコーディングなんだと思います。
レコーディングが終わった時は達成感もありメンバー全員でハグしてお互いを労いあいました。
それにしても良いメンバーでした！
スタジオのAki君も本当に良くやってくれました。
カメラマンのMyeongも素晴らしい写真とムービーを撮ってくれました。
キャスティングの手伝いをしてくれたAsakoのお陰で安心してレコーディングに挑めました。皆に本当に感謝です。
素晴らしいチームに恵まれた今回のこのプロジェクトが、良い結果を生む事を確信しています。
さて今日は帰国後初ライブです。
東中野でデュオライブ。

I came back from NYC and managed to regain calmness.
I was surprised to see that it was recorded just a week ago.
On that day, I headed to the studio from the morning, but I suddenly went on the M line because there was information that the L line of the subway was suspended.
In the past, I wasn’t able to get on the M line because I was scared, but I was fine.
I thought again that NYC was really safe.
Well, it ’s nice to arrive at the studio, but system trouble has started!
The PC doesn’t get up or the interface changes.
During this time, members also appeared and reported on the recent situation after a long reunion and started a rehearsal with a peaceful feel. The members felt it was easy to swallow songs.
Photographers appeared in lunch time. Recorded a photo session and set up a Movie.
The equipment trouble was recovered and it started in 30 minutes.
Proceed with 2-3 takes and finish faster than expected!
Sam added great organ sounds and harmonies, and the drum Anthony provided the NY groove with the ultimate calmness and sharpness.
The music, including the original, has been reborn.
I couldn’t think of anything anymore and had to play as I wanted.
Well, there are a lot of things to think about later, but I think that is the real recording because I was recorded at that time.
When the recording was over, there was a sense of accomplishment and all the members hugged each other and worked hard together.
Anyway, it was a good member!
Aki in the studio did really well.
Photographer Myeong also took great photos and movies.
Thanks to Asako who helped casting, I was able to record with confidence. I really appreciate everybody.
I am confident that this project, with a great team, will produce good results.
Well, today is the first live after returning home.
